Chromebook Screen/Display Issue
Rotate Screen:
If you find the screen orientation is rotated sideways or upside down. Press CTRL+Shift+Refresh key(similar to icon above), for every click of this combination, the screen will rotate 90-degrees until correct.
Cracked Screen:
If the screen is white/cracked/broken/has lines going through it, the screen needs to be replaced. Please contact PAC Help Desk to setup an appointment.
Screen is Magnified
If the top part of the screen is magnified (docked magnifier) or the full screen is magnified, or the full screen is magnified, then look to see if those features are checked in the Accessibility settings and uncheck them if necessary.
- Click on the Accessories icon on the lower right of the taskbar
2. On the pop-up screen, click on the Accessibility icon
3. On the next screen, uncheck the FullScreen Magnifier, and/or the Docked Magnifier if applicable
4. If the screen is still magnified, you can try the following:
• Using the Brightness keys
- – To increase magnification: Press Ctrl + Alt + Brightness up
. - To decrease magnification: Press Ctrl + Alt + Brightness down

- – To increase magnification: Press Ctrl + Alt + Brightness up
• Using the Plus and Minus sign keys
- – To make the page larger: Press Ctrl & + sign.
- – To make the page smaller: Press Ctrl & – sign.
• Using the Shift key and the + & – sign keys
- – To make the screen larger, decrease resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift & + sign
- – To make the screen smaller, increase resolution: Press Ctrl + Shift & – sign
