Fun Fall Activities for Children

Fun Fall Activities for Children

Calling all fall fanatics, the new season is upon us!

The changing colors and smells of pumpkin spice means it officially feels like autumn. This season, get inspired with these activity ideas to create memories with your children!

?Setup DIY Arts and Crafts

Don’t let arts and crafts scare you! There are so many great ways to bring out your child’s creative side this fall. Create leaf ornaments and wreaths to decorate your home or make colorful turkeys using paper plates. These crafts should create little to no mess!

?Spend the Day at the Pumpkin Patch

This time of the year, you can find acres of farmland solely filled with round, orange pumpkins and hay bales stacked high. No matter what age your child is, visiting a pumpkin patch is a fun and memorable experience. The background also makes for the perfect family photo!

?Carve a Jack-o-lantern

What better way to get ready for Halloween than by showing off  your freshly carved Jack-o-lantern on your porch? Assist your child through the step-by-step process of emptying the seeds, drawing the face and finally, safely carving the pumpkin! Watch your creation come to life by placing a LED tealight candle inside and watch it glow!

?Attend Local Fall Festivals

Welcome new members into the community or meet new friends by attending local festivals. Bring the whole family to enjoy a day of fun, food, games and other kid-friendly activities!

?Watch Movies That Put you in the Holiday Spirit

Last, but not least, grab a blanket and snuggle up on the couch to watch the holiday classics. Our personal favorites are Toy Story of Terror, Casper the Friendly Ghost and a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!
