Thank you for your interest in the Principle Academy Charter Before and After School Program. As you may know, this program is available for all PAC students grades K-6. We offer a safe and welcoming environment to our students from 7AM until the start of school and after school up to 6PM.

The PAC Before and After Care Program will begin on September 16th and will be available throughout the school year on full school days. On half days, only the PAC Before Care Program will be available.

Enclosed you will find important information about our program, along with required registration paperwork. We will need this paperwork filled out and turned in along with the $15 registration fee before each child is eligible to attend the program. Only checks or money orders will be accepted as payment for the PAC Before and After Care Program. We will be adding an online option for payment soon.

How much does the PAC Before and After Care Program cost?

Before Care (7 AM start, scheduled and paid in advance the prior week) $5 per day for one student, $4 per day for the second student,
$3 per day for each additional student

After Care (6 PM dismissal, scheduled and paid in advance the prior week) $10 per day for one student, $9 per day for the second student,
$8 per day for each additional student

Same-day Emergency Drop In is available for an additional $2 per student
I would like my children to attend the PAC Before and After Care Program. How do I register them?

You need to fill out the registration packet. Send the completed packet and the $15.00/child registration fee. You can send it with your child to school. Payment must be in the form of a check or money order. Please make sure that everything is in an envelope labeled “PAC Before and After Care Program.” The envelope can be handed in to the main office or your child can give it to his/her classroom teacher.

How often do I have to pay the registration fee?

Once each school year you are required to pay the $15.00 registration fee prior to the first time your child attends PAC Before or After Care.

Is there any food provided in the AM or PM session of the program?

There isn’t any food provided in the morning session, however, children are allowed to bring something from home. Remember, there is breakfast served as part of the school program at the beginning of the regular school day at 7:40 AM.

In the afternoon session, we do provide a snack. The snack is different every day and it does include milk. Please note that lunch is served during school hours. If your child brings a snack from home, please be sure to pack food that does not require heating. Also, please remember that we are a Nut Free school. That includes peanut butter.

Can I pay the Drop-In rate without registering for the program?

Unfortunately, if your child is not registered for one of the program options on a monthly basis, they may not participate on a Drop-In basis. The Drop-In rates are only for those families registered for the program.

If school is closed or delayed, is the PAC Before and After Care Program still open?

If there is a delay or closure due to inclement weather or any reason, the PAC Before and After Care Program is not open until school resumes.

On half day dismissal days, is the PAC After Care Program still open?

If there is a half day dismissal, the PAC After Care Program is not open.

Are my children allowed to bring anything from home, such as toys, video games, IPODS, etc.?

Students are not allowed to bring any items from home to their classes and they are not allowed to bring any to the PAC Before and After Care Program either. It is school policy.

If I am unable to pick up my children from the program, can someone else pick them up for me?

In the registration packet, (which you are required to fill out when you register), you will find there is a section where you can write down additional names of individuals authorized by you to pick up. Only the people that you have listed in the registration packet are able to pick up your children.

However, please note that everyone is required to show their driver’s license as a form of identification, at least for the first few times as you come to pick up the children. We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but it is a safety precaution that we feel very strongly about.
